I know you like to watch telenovelas, noticias, or maybe movies. I also know that while living in the US, it sometimes gets difficult to find content in your mother tongue, which I am guessing is Español. That is why you are reading this.
Anyway, Mi Amigo, I got you covered because I will be talking about the best streaming platforms where you will be able to find content to watch in Spanish.
If that is something you are finding useful right now, then read on to find out more about such platforms.
How to Enhance Your Streaming Experience
Well, all of these platforms are great for watching Spanish content, but is your movie setup?
I am a movie buff, and I watch a lot of content, but I had to ask myself this exact question around two years ago. Whenever I cozied up to watch a movie, my internet went out to have a stroll. My Quesadillas went cold while I couldn’t complete the movie. Eso fue frustrante!
Then I went on a hunt to find the best internet providers in my area. A neighbor suggested giving Spectrum Internet a shot, and since then, I haven’t looked back.
It is uno de los mejores proveedores de internet (one of the best internet providers in the US) that certainly enhanced my streaming experience. It offers fiber-powered connectivity, affordable plans, and top-notch customer service.

What Streaming Services to Watch Spanish Content
- Peacock
From movies to telenovelas and more, Peacock offers all of them.
It is generally regarded as one of the best streaming platforms for most types of content, but it shines when you have to catch a soccer match live, and that too en Español.
As for the movies, when I search for them on Peacock, it’s somewhat difficult to find them, but when I did, it was pretty good. You have to dig into the setting to search for content in Spanish. Speaking of which, the library of Spanish movies might not be huge, but you will find movies that are dubbed in Spanish. This means that you don’t have to look for the subtitles while watching content.
If you were wondering whether it is free or not, bad news is coming up. After last year’s price hike in the overall streaming market, Peacock removed their free plan. Now, you have to either pay around 10 bucks a month for an ad-included plan or around 17 bucks a month for their ad-free plan.
Do I think it is worth it? If you want to watch soccer matches in Spanish along with movies, then it will be a fine choice. If not, you are better off with other streaming services like Netflix.
- Netflix
This might just be the most popular streaming service en la comunidad hispana. And it makes sense, not just that it offers tons of original Spanish content like Narcos and Money Heist, it also offers dubbed content in multiple languages, including Español. In simple words, you can watch the entire library of Netflix library in Spanish.
Isn’t that great?!
I have been using Netflix since 2018, and I was satisfied overall until the recent price hike. Now, it has become one of the most popular streaming services in the US. Single plan costs around 8 bucks a month, and the price goes up as you add more screens.
One good thing I adore about their subscription is that there are no ads in any of the plans. Unlike Peacock, no matter which Netflix plan you choose, your experience is always be better because there are no ads.
All in all, in my opinion, this might just be the perfect service for the Hispanic audience.
- YouTube TV
I think it doesn’t get the attention it deserves, but it certainly is one of the best options when it comes to streaming content in Spanish.
A lot of reviewers and consumers underrate YouTube TV to a large extent. The reason could be its high pricing (more on that coming up), that people steer clear of this streaming service.
Anyway, YouTube TV is just like traditional TV but with better support and more channels, especially the Spanish ones. You can tune into Univision, Cine Mexicano, CNN en Español, and more.
On top of that, you get unlimited DVR storage to watch your favorite shows later. In simple words, you don’t have to worry about the storage, and you certainly don’t have to worry about missing your shows.
Now, let’s come to the things that don’t look good: pricing and no Telemundo.
The plan for YouTube TV is simple but pretty costly for a streaming service – $35 a month.
On top of that, it doesn’t offer Telemundo. If that was something you want in your streaming service, you might be disappointed.
Well, now, if I have to recommend one service (if they maintain their quality) for the rest of your life, what would that be? Netflix. It offers a diverse range of original Spanish content, and on top of that, you can stream their whole library in Spanish.
